Slow to Speak & Get Angry
James 1:19 tells us that we should be quick to listen (to God’s word), slow to speak, and slow to get angry. When we speak, we should be careful not to go beyond what is needed to be said at the specific time. We should be slow to get angry, because anger inhibits our ability to live the righteous life that God desires for us.
