Ministry Opportunities

Even though it is July and summer is in full swing, it is time to start thinking about the Fall and ministry needs!

Jesus tells us in His word in Matthew 9:37 that ‘the harvest is  plentiful but the workers are few.’ And in Matthew 9:38, Jesus goes on to encourage the disciples to ‘Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest field.’

We know that many of you minister tirelessly unto the Lord and not one single thing you do escapes HIs notice!  As grateful as we are for your servant-hearts, there is One Who sees you!

El Roi ~ the God who sees me! (you, us).  The Lord will reward us with the Crown of Glory for ‘feeding the flock’ and carrying out the Great Commission by preaching the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).  Ultimately, we will lay our Crown/s down before the Lord (Rev. 4:9,10)

All that we do, we do unto the Lord to further His kingdom, to share the gospel so that none would perish but all would have eternal life with Jesus.  In order to do that and to do it well, HE needs the workers.  As September quickly approaches, we are working now on schedules in many areas.  What we need from you is any area that you would like to be involved in.  We have listed all the ministry opportunities below and would like you to check mark areas there are of interest to you.  Some of these areas might not need additional help at this time, however, it does help us to know areas of interest.  Our Deacon Board does require that anyone working with children have child abuse and criminal background clearances (we will assist you with those so please see Pastor or Anna).  Also, membership requirements for any who are in a teaching capacity.  We need to be sure that all doctrine is in line with Dover Assembly of God Church and it’s Assemblies covering.

Please see the insert in the printed bulletin for individual opportunities.
