We are so glad you have chosen to attend Dover Assembly this morning. It is not by accident that you are here. We believe that God has allowed you to be here so that you might receive all that He has for you. We pray you are blessed as you allow the Lord to work in your life.

BODY NEWS

CONGRATULATIONS –  To Nicole Kholod and Noah Carr on their wedding this past Friday, May 22

WEDNESDAY SERIES – join us as Pastor Jeff continues his series on “Christian Atheist.”.  The book “The Christian Atheist”. Believing in God but living as if He doesn’t exist.” In other words, Am I putting my whole faith in God, but still living like as if everything were up to me?  Join us weekly for this study and conversation about our walk with the Lord.

PRAYER NIGHT – Prayer Night will be held on Thursday May 28th @ 6:00 PM
CHURCH CLEANUP DAY – We are looking for volunteers to help with our annual clean up day. We will be going through the attic and the sheds to discard any items that are no longer usable or broken.  It will be held on Saturday, May 30 beginning at 8:00. Any amount of time you could help would be appreciated. Coffee and donuts will be provided and pizza for those who are here at lunch time.  Please sign up in the lower foyer

WORSHIP NIGHT – Worship Night, previously scheduled for Sun., May 31 at 6:00 pm has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.

MEMBERSHIP MEETING – We will be having a church business meeting following the service on Sunday, May 31 to approve the name change from Dover Assembly of God to CrossPointe Church. If you will not be present that day, absentee ballots will be available. Please see Pastor Jeff for one.
If you have any questions before the meeting please see Pastor Jeff or one of our board members. We will also be voting on approving the township’s proposal for the land exchange. They have offered to build and pave an extended parking lot behind the church in exchange for the land taken for the new road.  More in-depth details will be presented over the next 2 weeks so we are informed as to what that vote means.  Thank you!

BABY SHOWER – Lexi’s Baby Shower is Sat., June 20 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. Please sign up in the upper foyer. Lexi is registered at: www.mybabylist.com

BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH (BTSB) – We will be having a huge Back-to-School Bash (Outreach) on Saturday, August 8 for our Dover community.  This outreach will require many helping hands and many donations as our goal is to reach not just our church, but the Dover community! Please sign up to help and check out our insert to see what we still need to fill our donation bins by the Information Center! Thank you in advance!
