Week of Prayer
The Assemblies of God sets aside the first full week of January as the “week of prayer”. We will meet from 6:30-7:15 each night Sunday through Wednesday in the sanctuary for a time of worship and prayer. The focus this year will continue to be the salvation of souls and prayer for miracles and healings. The church will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday if anyone wants to stop by and pray at your convenience on those days.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations.”
14 Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And their prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make them well. And anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.
“The truth is, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.
21 Days of Prayer & Fasting for the New Year 2022
As we begin our Week of Prayer, we will also begin our 21 days of prayer and fast. You may do a sun-up to sun-down fast or you may choose to fast one meal a day if fasting two has dietary restrictions for you. The fast will end on Sun., Jan. 21 end-of-day. Please join us as we spend time with the Lord in prayer and fasting.
The guys will start the new year by meeting for breakfast and fellowship on Sat Jan 8 at Dover Valley Restaurant. We encourage all men and boys to join us! Sign up in the lower foyer
Prayer nights continue on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 6:30 pm. Join us as we seek the Lord for Dover Assembly and our own lives!

The following have been nominated and have accepted the nomination to run for our 2 open positions. If you would like to have one of the Poinsettias on the platform please take one on a donation basis of your choosing. Thank you.
Our meal ministry has been quite busy over the past few months. If you would like to be added to the list to make a meal when needed, please let Anna or Diane Crumrine know. Don’t like to cook you say? Gift certificates to local restaurants or grocery stores are also welcome, as is cash! Thank you for helping us bless our church family!
As we enter into the new year 2022, we still have a substantial balance due to the bank for the parsonage roof repair that we desperately needed this past year, along with a few other expenses. Thank you as you faithfully pledge to helping us bring this balance to zero.
