BODY NEWS

WEDNESDAY SERIES – join us as Pastor Jeff continues his series on “Christian Atheist.”.  The book “The Christian Atheist”. Believing in God but living as if He doesn’t exist.” In other words, Am I putting my whole faith in God, but still living like as if everything were up to me?  Join us weekly for this study and conversation about our walk with the Lord.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL BASH (BTSB) UPDATE – Thank You for all your donations toward our Back-to-School Bash!  The committee has been working hard behind the scenes!  We still need workers on Sat., Aug. 8.  Sign-up sheet is in the lower foyer and we will be in touch!

THANK YOU ~ Lexi and Jordan would like to thank the Women of Dover for the baby shower and gifts that they were blessed with at their recent baby shower!  Baby Girl Bissell will be here in August!

CHURCH PICNIC – The Church Picnic has been scheduled for Saturday September 5th at Lehr Park. Please sign up in the lower foyer so we have a count of how many will be attending the church picnic!

CALLING ALL MEN! – Save-the-Dates:

• Friday, October 2, Men’s Bonfire at Kurt’s House.
• Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, Men’s Conference at Christian Life Assembly.  Sign up sheets and more information will be provided.

SOS RETREAT – Save the date: – Friday, September 11, starting at 6:00 pm.  – In-House Sisters of Sonlight Retreat. Charcuterie Board items will be available from 6:00 pm – 6:15 pm. at which time the evening service will begin. Please sign-up in the upper foyer if you are interested in attending.  More information will be provided.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY – As we are expanding our nursery and ROCK Children’s Ministries, we are in need of men and women to help in these areas. God has blessed our church with these children, now it’s our responsibility to train them up in the Lord. Please see Pastor Jeff or Anna for more details.
